Refunds, if provided, must be handled by UNITY Thunder directly (they are not handled through SportsSignup).
- Registration Refunds:
- UNITY Thunder is a non-profit organization with financial commitments. Equipment must be ordered by July of every year and these orders are directly related to the players signing up. Equipment is ordered based on age, weight, and size of each player. UNITY Thunder also has financial obligation to the RFL and SECFL (League), of which we are a member. The RFL assesses fees based on the number of participants/registrations. These fees are due and payable by August 1st. These financial obligations are paid primarily from registration fees.
All refunds are subject to the approval of the UNITY Thunder Board of Directors. No refunds are automatic or compulsory, and UNITY reserves the right to deny your refund request due to operating costs requirements although hardship will be strongly considered. All refunds must be submitted in writing to the UNITY Thunder Board of Directors. Approved requests for refunds received after August 1st will be only 50% any funds paid. No refunds will be granted after August 31st. Hard costs (such as AAU membership, spirit wear, special orders of any kind, etc.) will not be refunded at any time. All requests for refunds must be received in writing with justification.
